I’m running for State Representative to make Rhode Island more affordable, equitable, and accessible for all. That means ensuring that every Rhode Islander can count on high-quality health care, including mental health care; access to strong schools and safe communities; lowered everyday costs and rising wages; a protected environment, and access to affordable housing.

As a clinical social worker, I’ve seen firsthand how gaps in our system affect individuals and families. I believe that comprehensive healthcare is a basic human right. Here in Rhode Island we don’t have adequate mental health services to meet our needs. People struggle to find a primary care doctor, and we are burdened with high prescription costs and unaffordable deductibles. We have a substance abuse crisis and inadequate treatment.

Supporting children and families is at the heart of my work. Every child deserves an effective and equitable public education that meets their academic, social, and emotional needs. That means fair school funding, investing in teachers, and ensuring schools have the counselors, social workers, and resources needed. Education—from Pre-K through college and career training—must be affordable and accessible to all.

I deeply believe in protecting fundamental rights and advancing equity. That means defending reproductive freedom, supporting working families with access to affordable childcare, advancing pay equity, and ensuring that no one faces discrimination because of who they are, whom they love, or a disability. We must continue working toward a Rhode Island that lives up to its values of fairness, opportunity, and justice.

Our economy depends on the success of small businesses and local communities. I will work to cut unnecessary red tape, support entrepreneurs, and invest in local community businesses while holding government accountable and ensuring responsible use of public funds.

Rhode Island’s affordability crisis—especially when it comes to housing—demands urgent action. Every person deserves a safe, stable, and affordable home. I will work to support smart growth, remove barriers to housing development, and ensure that seniors and families can remain in the communities they call home. That includes expanding access to in-home care, transportation, and services that allow older adults to age safely and with dignity.

Our state’s natural beauty is central to who we are, and to our economy. From our beaches to our open spaces, we must protect these resources while confronting the realities of climate change. I will support bold action to reduce emissions, invest in a green economy, strengthen coastal resilience, and safeguard clean, reliable drinking water for all Rhode Islanders.

Above all, I believe representation means showing up, listening, and working hard every day to earn your trust. We have the shortest state motto of the 50 states, which is quite simply, “Hope.” I believe in a hopeful future and I’m committed to the promise of a better, stronger, more affordable, and more equitable Rhode Island for all, a place where all Rhode Islanders can thrive.

Values-Driven, Action-Oriented, Community-Centered
